Dr. Seung Hwan (Mark) Lee is a Professor and Associate Dean of Engagement & Inclusion at Ted Rogers School of Management at Toronto Metropolitan University. He earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business at Western University. He completed his MBA at the University of Windsor and Bachelor's degree in Arts & Science at McMaster University. Dr. Lee’s primary research interests are in the consumer behavior discipline, specifically focusing on the structural dynamics of social networks and its impact on retail consumers. Professor Lee also contributes to the topic of branding, marketing education, and sensory marketing. He has published in top tier journals which include Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Consumer Psychology, Journal of Business Ethics, and Journal of Business Research. Dr. Lee previously taught Principles of Marketing at Western University where he was awarded the university-wide excellence in Teaching Award in 2011. He also taught Consumer Behavior at Colorado State University where he was the recipient of the Best Teacher Award in 2013. Dr. Lee is currently the Journal Editor for Marketing Education Review. In November of 2019, Dr. Lee was named as the recipient of the Axcess-Capon Distinguished Teaching Award by the Society of Marketing Advances (SMA) becoming only the second Canadian ever to receive this prestigious recognition. In 2022, he received the Chancellor’s Award of Distinction recognizing the sustained educational leadership and sustained record of teaching excellence.

Irfan Butt is an Associate Professor of Marketing at Ted Rogers School of Management, Toronto Metropolitan University. His prior academic experience includes teaching at Lakehead University, Canada, Sultan Qaboos University, Oman, and Lahore University of Management Sciences, Pakistan. He specializes in systematic literature review (SLR) methodology and has given almost two dozen invited presentations on this topic at various institutions in Pakistan, Oman, Morocco, Canada, and the USA. He also teaches a full-semester graduate course on Systematic Review Methodology. He has received multiple research and teaching awards. In addition to almost 50 conference presentations and proceedings, he has published over 50 papers in academic journals including 20 papers using SLR methodology. Some of the journals he has published include Journal of Business Research, International Journal of Bank Marketing, Journal of Consumer Marketing, International Journal of Contemporary & Hospitality Management, Journal of Travel and Tourism Marketing, International Journal of Operations & Production Management, Energy Economics, Journal of Economic Survey, and Research Policy. He received his PhD in Management from Sprott School of Business, Carleton University, Canada, MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, Arizona State University, USA, and BA from The College of Wooster, USA.

Omar H. Fares is a lecturer in Marketing at the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics. Omar earned his Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Science in Management and is currently finishing his PhD in Management from Toronto Metropolitan University. Omar's main research interest is in the consumer behaviour area, particularly focusing on consumers' interaction with novel digital innovations and the impact of digital innovations on retailers and consumers. Omar published his research in different impactful journals, such as Computers in Human Behavior, the International Journal of Consumer Studies, the Journal of Financial Services Marketing, and more. Omar maintains a strong commitment to public engagement and knowledge dissemination. He actively contributes to different media avenues, with works featured in prominent media outlets such as the National Post, Retail Insider, Yahoo News Canada, and many more. He has also made frequent appearances on radio and television channels, including the BBC World Service, CBC News, and CTV, reaching a wide range of audiences globally. Omar's professional background combines expertise in sales, market research and planning, corporate strategizing, and leadership and training in the banking and retail sectors. Omar worked for different leading institutions, such as Walmart, CIBC, and Fairstone Bank (formerly Duo Bank).
